The Giacomini Group Strengthens Its Commitment to Sustainability with the Support of ALTIS Advisory

CEO Valentina Giacomini is pleased to announce the launch of Giacomini S.p.A.’s new strategic journey toward sustainability, undertaken in collaboration with ALTIS Advisory. Anticipating the requirements of the European CSRD Directive, the Giacomini Group will voluntarily publish its first Sustainability Report, following the European ESRS standards, in 2025 (fiscal year 2024).

This initiative is not just a proactive response to new regulations but also an opportunity to consolidate and enhance sustainability management, integrating existing initiatives into a clear and cohesive strategy.

The journey began with an assessment of ESG performance based on the A4ESG model by ALTIS Advisory, which has already highlighted strengths and areas for improvement. The next step will involve a materiality analysis—a critical process to identify and evaluate the most relevant sustainability topics for our Group and stakeholders—defining the strategic pillars of sustainability that will guide our future actions.

Project Objectives:

1. Anticipate the requirements of the European CSRD Directive.
2. Formalize an ESG strategy that enhances our commitment and improves business performance.
3. Integrate sustainability as a key element of our corporate culture.
4. Recognize and build upon existing initiatives, incorporating them into a more coherent and strategic approach.
